Jeff Coon is overjoyed to be coming back to Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia - the theatre that helped shaped him as a professional in the arts realm in the city that he has always called home! He is a theatre artist, producer, and fundraiser who lived and worked in Philadelphia and Delco for over 25 years before assuming the role of Annual Fund and Foundation Director at Lancaster’s Fulton Theatre in 2018. During his tenure there, he oversaw and helped to grow the Fulton’s annual fundraising through individual donors and smaller businesses. He also produced a live-streamed and broadcast televised telethon during July of 2020 that raised nearly $400,000 in one night during the COVID epidemic. He has performed in over 100 professional productions, with 36 of them being at Walnut Street Theatre. He looks forward to reconnecting with the audiences, sponsors and donors at Walnut Street Theatre. It is through their generous support and advocacy that WST is able to change lives in our community and sustain the unmatched magic of live theatre.
He has a BA in Theatre Arts from the University of Pennsylvania. He is the proud father of Piper and Jackson and husband of Joey.
